At Panther Partnership, we have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to machine vision systems.

Having developed several of the open-source vision libraries, as well as partnering and working on cutting edge developments with some of the largest off-the-shelf vision suppliers in the world, Panther Partnership are leading experts in providing and supporting systems around the world.

We pride ourselves in putting forward the best technical solution for our individual customers needs - whether that be off-the-shelf cameras and software, or much more bespoke systems (such as deep-learning software). By tying in the correct specification of components such as lenses, lights, controls and conveyor systems (to name just a few), we can often provide much more reliable systems, that operators can trust in the long-term.

By coming to Panther, we can deliver our expertise in tying all of these individual components together, to suit your needs. Not only can we design systems from scratch, but we can also support with existing (problematic) systems, starting with a free on-site consultation.

Some of the things we can support with:

  • Providing a thorough hardware specification to include the correct camera, lenses, lighting etc.

  • Explore in-depth sample testing to confirm feasibility and the optimal selection of equipment.

  • Provide an idea for maximum speed outputs, data repeatability etc.

  • Design and build bespoke brackets for mounting to the existing production line (or install new equipment where required).

  • Install and programme the vision system offline and in-line (during production/acceptance testing).

  • Provide Vision training to operators with varying degrees of camera experience.

  • Integrate the Vision system with a new/existing PLC, and tie this to the various outputs required.

  • Create bespoke reject systems for a variety of product types, with options to track faulty products throughout the line.

  • Provide a centralised system with user logins/historical data logging to tie in with vision systems and enable customer 21 CRF Part 11 compliance.

  • Provide fully integrated vision-guided robotic solutions for pick and place, grip correction, tool adjustment etc.

  • Support legacy/troublesome systems that are not providing the expected results.
